It started over ice cream cones. On a warm day in 2013, two friends realized that Atlanta lacked an ice cream shop with flavors made completely from scratch. The friends, Cora Cotrim and Davis Sandling, set out to change that.
A year of research went by in a lick, and in 2014, Queen of Cream was born with one ice cream cart, a 100 sq.ft. kitchen, and the best ingredients we could get our hands on.
Our philosophy has always been simple. We put flavor first, and we don’t take any shortcuts.By pasteurizing our own ice cream bases, sourcing dairy locally, and using fresh, real ingredients like Tahitian vanilla, local chocolate, and organic lavender flowers to name a few, our ice cream is luscious, full-bodied, and vibrant.
In September of 2015, we opened the doors to our first brick-and-mortar scoop shop, a sunny storefront in Inman Park, adding coffee and pastries to our menu. As we continue to grow we will always be committed to quality ingredients, attention to detail, and working with the communities and local businesses around us.
